What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is played on a court with a low net, similar to a badminton net, and a perforated plastic ball. The game can be played as singles or doubles, and the objective is to hit the ball over the net and land it within the boundaries of the opponent’s court.

Basic Rules from Pickleball Canada: https://pickleballcanada.org/play-and-learn/basic-rules/

Members of PCPC agree to comply with the international Pickleball Rules as they are amended from time to time.  As the sport continues to grow, the governing body continues to make changes to the rules to adapt to comments, complaints, and changing conditions.

There are changes to some of the pickleball rules in 2025 of which we should all be aware. We have incorporated some of the relevant changes into the PCPC Governing Documents. Rule Changes for 2025
